4 1/2 Ounces Dried Beef
4 Tablespoons Butter
1/3 Cups Flour
3 Cups Milk
1 teaspoon black pepper
Cut the dried beef into slices and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the flour and stir together for a couple of minutes to make sure all the lumps are out of the flour and everything is integrated.
Pour in the milk, turning up the heat to medium high until mixture begins to bubble.
Turn the heat down to low and add the black pepper and sliced dried beef.
Stir mixture, cooking until the mixture thickens.
Serve over toast, biscuits, mashed potatoes, or cooked pasta.
